Join us for a screening of Steve Crump's documentary of "Lessons from the Lunchcounter"
Held at the Main Library, 310 N. Tryon Street, Charlotte

February 2010 is the 50th anniversary of the nationwide Sit-In Movement that began in North Carolina and became an important part of the Civil Rights Era. Filmmaker Steve Crump screens his WTVI documentary "Lessons from the Lunchcounter," then hosts a discussion with B.B. De Laine and Charles Jones, two leaders of Charlotte's 1960 protests against segregated eating places. Introduction by film librarian Sam Shapiro.
