Join us for a special program at the Morrison Regional Library in conjunction with the exhibit "Picturing America"
Held at the Morrison Regional Library, 7015 Morrison Boulevard, Charlotte

In conjunction with the NEH exhibit "Picturing America" on display at Morrison Regional Library, Levine Museum staff historian Dr. Tom Hanchett explores the surprising history of Charlotte’s heyday as a recording center – more active than Nashville in the late 1930s. Listen to important national stars including the legendary Carter Family and "Father of Bluegrass" Bill Monroe, plus local favorites such as Arthur Smith and the WBT Briarhoppers.
