Held at the Main Library, 310 N. Tryon Street, Charlotte

H.L. Mencken first called the South the "Bible Belt" back in the 1920s. What brought the Bible Belt into existence? What trends today may be reshaping it for the years to come? Davidson College professor John Kuykendall leads a presentation on "Religion in the American South."

In partnership with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, Levine Museum presents this series of lectures exploring major religious movements and their impact on American life. Free to attend.
