Next up in this special program series: The African American Church in the Fight for Equality
Held at the Main Library, 310 N. Tryon Street, Charlotte

The African American church, from its origins to today, has been a vehicle for community-building, social change and transformation. How has that legacy of activism played out in the nation, in the South, and here in Mecklenburg County? UNC Charlotte's Julia Robinson-Harmon & Gregory Davis address these questions in a talk on "The African American Church in the Fight for Equality."

In partnership with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, Levine Museum presents this series of lectures exploring major religious movements and their impact on American life. Free to attend.
