Catawba Pottery: Legacy of Survival
Seven master potters provided visitors with an intimate look at the pottery of the Catawba Indians who live on or near the Catawba Nation Indian Reservation in Rock Hill. Approximately 30 pieces of pottery were displayed along with text and photos that explain the history and the role of pottery in the Catawba culture. The exhibit was loaned by the Catawba Cultural project.
