On March 7 our Accessing Writing workshop was taught at Community School of Davidson’s annual Fresh Take Conference. Nearly 3,400 students will be impacted this school year by the teachers who attended these workshops.

Collections Corner

Harvey Gantt served two terms as Charlotte’s first African American mayor, 1983-1987. Gantt was a strong advocate for civil rights and social justice, making significant strides in the progress of the African American community in Charlotte.
