Juneteenth Festival of The Carolinas – 2024
Levine Museum will be joining the Juneteenth Festival of The Carolinas celebration on Saturday, June 15th and Sunday, June 16th in Plaza Midwood. You can stop by and visit our booth while enjoying the festival full of performances, art, food, and so much more.
“The Juneteenth Festival of the Carolinas was started to share the history of chattel slavery in the USA and to commemorate its historical ending. The major intent of the festival is to examine the cultural heritage of enslaved Africans and their descendants through art, education, and research.”
Pape S. Ndiaye,
