What is it Going to Take? Food Insecurity
Join the Levine Museum of the New South and Queens University for a discussion about food insecurity in and around historically Black neighborhoods. Panelists Rickey Hall (West Boulevard Neighborhood Coalition), Eboné Lockett (Harvesting Humanity), and Tina Postel (Nourish Up) will lead a dialogue asking: what is a “food desert” and why do they exist in Charlotte? Where are food deserts in our community and why are they there? What can we do to help end food insecurity in our communities?
Moderated by Queens Hunger Ambassadors Ameyo Olivia Codjie and Jay Stone.
Parking is free and available on site.
