Inquiry-based case studies by Charlotte teachers for students and teachers in North Carolina and beyond.
Teaching Guides are available for each case study.
ABOUT THIS PROJECT
The case studies were written by Levine Museum’s Educator Advisory Group, a group of Charlotte-area social studies teachers who help Levine Museum create student and teacher-focused educational experiences and materials. They cover topics that connect United States and North Carolina history. Written with North Carolina eighth graders in mind, they can also be tailored to younger and older grades. Each case study has a corresponding Teaching Guide with additional background, instructions, modifications, and standards. The Teaching Guide is linked at the top of each case study’s homepage.
